Horry County Police Identify Carjacking Suspect

The suspect of a carjacking has been identified. One person is in custody after a carjacking that took place yesterday afternoon near 17 Bypass and Sheffield Parkway. Authorities say a related car crash did occur in the area prior to the incident and no injuries were reported at the scene. Horry County Police caught the suspect identified as 22 year old Joseph Marshall of Surfside Beach last night and took him into custody. He is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
