Car Burst Into Flames Following Vehicle Collision in Horry County

A car caught fire in Horry County following a collision this morning. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. along Socastee Boulevard in the Myrtle Beach area as a result of a two-vehicle crash. Horry County Fire Rescue arrived on scene and a half hour later they had the fire under control. Fortunately no injuries were reported. The South Carolina Highway Patrol also responded and is investigating the cause of the crash.
