South Carolinians 65+ Now Eligible to Make Covid-19 Vaccination Appointments
And speaking of vaccines, South Carolinians age 65 and older can begin scheduling their appointments today! Originally, those 65+ were in the Phase 1C of the state’s vaccine plan until Governor McMaster and DHEC announced the changes last week. No matter your health condition, if you are 65 and up you can now book an appointment to receive your first dose. But be warned that there may be a weeks-long delay. Around 309,000 more residents are now eligible and demand of the vaccine still largely outweighs the supply.
