5 Children, 1 Adult Fatally Shot in Oklahoma Residence

Six people are dead and a seventh is clinging to life after a shooting in an Oklahoma residence. Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the home around 1 a.m. this morning in the city of Muskogee. Upon arrival, they found one adult and four young children deceased. Another child and adult were alive but severely injured. They were transported to a hospital. Unfortunately the child did not survive. The woman is still receiving treatment for her life-threatening injuries. Police also saw the suspect exiting the home holding a gun. An officer fired his weapon at the suspect but missed. Following a short chase, the suspect was taken into custody. Authorities currently do not have a motive but they don’t believe this was a random incident as it appears everyone was related. They also have reason to believe there are no other suspects. Currently, the identities of the those involved have not been released.
