Walmart Testing Smart Box Technology

Walmart customers in the grocer’s home town of Bentonville, Arkansas will get to check out something called smart box technology.   They’ll receive their deliveries in a temperature-controlled home-valet smart box outside their homes. The technology allows groceries to be stored in three temperature zones: frozen, refrigerated, and pantry.  A Walmart spokesperson says this gives customers the ability to receive secure, contactless deliveries with the peace of mind knowing their grocery items will stay fresh.
