HCS Will Revert to Virtual Learning for Two Weeks Following Winter Break
Following the holiday break, Horry County Schools will temporarily move to virtual learning. The change will take place for two weeks between January 4th-15th. The district said they made the decision since they won’t be able to accurately track cases after the break and because of the rise in cases currently being recorded countywide. While school facilities will be closed, athletic events previously scheduled will still take place with precautions implemented. Parents of HCS brick-and-mortar students, don’t forget! You have until 11:59 tonight to switch your child to virtual classes for the spring semester.
