Marion County School District Temporarily Moves to Full-Time Virtual Learning

Another school in the Pee Dee area is moving to full virtual learning as coronavirus rates surge in South Carolina. The Marion County School District announced yesterday that beginning Monday, through at least December 22nd, they will be converting to an all-virtual learning program. The district’s official statement said their main “goal is to protect students and staff from the rapid escalation of cases reported in our area and help flatten the curve of infections.” This district made the same decision for the week after thanksgiving.
