A stabbing at a California church last night has left two people dead and multiple others seriously injured. The incident occurred at San Jose’s Grace Baptist Church near the San Jose State University campus. There was not a service taking place at the time but the building was being used to shelter the homeless during a cold night. Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing around 8:45 p.m. Two people died as a result of their injuries. It’s unclear how many other people were hurt, but it’s believed several sustained life-threatening injuries. It’s unclear if the suspect has been apprehended at this time as the San Jose Police Department is keeping related information close to the vest.
