Horry County Schools Board Discusses Spring Semester Learning Options
Parents of Horry County students listen up because we’ve got some important information about the spring semester. The school board said elementary-level classes could move back to full in-person instruction by January, but didn’t set a firm date to allow for parents to decide what they want. Families currently using the virtual method will be able to request a transfer to brick-and-mortar learning. That option will be available on the school’s web portal starting December 7th through 14th. However, as cases are on the rise statewide, others may want the virtual option. That can be decided between December 15th and 22nd. If a family is okay with their current mode of learning, no further action is required.
