Trump Campaign Continues to Pursue Legal Challenges in Battleground States

As demonstrators clashed over the weekend, President Trump still has not formally conceded the election. The final two states were projected with Georgia favoring President-elect Biden and North Carolina for President Trump. With around 97% of the national ballots received, the projected electoral vote now comes to 306 for Biden and 232 for the president. This total is identical to President Trump’s projected win back in 2016. However, by this time Hillary Clinton had conceded while the president continues to fight the results in court. The president was forced to clarify a tweet he wrote yesterday after it appeared he conceded by admitting President-elect Biden won, but only because of a rigged election. This is a claim that continues to be disputed in court due to lack of evidence. Out of 18 cases in several battleground states, the Trump Campaign has only won twice. The rest have been denied or dismissed by both Republican and Democratic-appointed judges. Despite all this, President Trump is still adamant he’s the real winner.
