Grand Strand, Pee Dee Areas Celebrate Veterans Day with Special Events

It’s Veterans Day and to honor them, there are several events taking place across the Pee Dee and Grand Strand areas. Kicking off this morning at 11 a.m. were several events. This included the annual Veterans Day ceremony at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, a Veterans Day service at the Carolina Bays Church in North Myrtle Beach, a Veterans Memorial in Georgetown County, and a Veterans Day celebration in Darlington County on the Public Square. Florence County also began their annual Veterans Day ceremony at Florence Veterans Park. Finally Surfside Beach is holding a veterans memorial service at Memorial Park starting at 2 p.m.
