Trump Administration Continues Legal Battle Over Election Results

While President-elect Biden pushes ahead with plans to transition into the White House, President Trump still has not conceded. His campaign has shown they will not admit defeat until it’s proven, beyond a doubt, that Biden has won this election. Even though news media outlets have historically made the official projected call, nothing is set until the electoral college actually casts their ballots. So until December 14th, the administration will continue filing lawsuits claiming voter fraud. But things do not look good for the president as several cases have already been thrown out due to lack of evidence. They’re further demanding recounts which are also unlikely to change the outcome of the results. However, it’s well within their rights to demand one if the votes come to within a certain margin of error. Currently recounts are being conducted in Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. While this all takes place, President Trump intends to hold rallies nationwide promoting these legal efforts. Some Republicans are advising the president to keep fighting while others have already begun accepting the loss.
