Trump Administration Files Multiple Legal Actions in Key States Over Election

While votes continue to be tallied in the remaining 6 states, the Trump Administration continued to press legal challenges. On Wednesday, his campaign began filing numerous lawsuits in key battleground states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia, and further demanded a recount in Wisconsin. The race for the White House has come down to just a handful of states, all of which are too close to call as they continue to narrow, and with many of them within the margin of clerical error. Unfortunately for the administration, several of those cases have already been denied by judges. In Georgia, claims of late-arriving mail in ballots being mixed in with on time ballots were unable to be proven. Requests to also stop counting ballots for various reasons in Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania were shot down due to lack of evidence. The Trump Administration has also brought cases before courts that concern issues about poll watchers, ballot deadlines and more, some of which they have come out as victorious. The president will also continue to seek more recounts in several key states.
