Reports Claim President Trump Abruptly Ended ’60 Minutes’ Interview

President Trump is making headlines today after abruptly ending his “60 Minutes” interview. It’s reported the discussion with interviewer Lesley Stahl from yesterday afternoon was being recorded by the administration for archival purposes. However, the president walked out after he came to believe Stahl was biased against him and that the whole meeting was a “terrible electoral intrusion.” He also failed to make an appearance during Vice President Mike Pence’s interview as anticipated. He then bashed Stahl in a series of tweets shortly after, which included a video of Stalh without a mask. A White House source described their interaction as “testy at times” but attempted to downplay the situation by adding the two spoke for over 45 minutes on-camera, well over the time needed, before reaching a “natural break in the conversation”. At that point the president said “I think you have what you need” and left. The interview is also set to feature former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris. It will air this Sunday.
