Sexual Assault Suspect Barricades Himself in Paramount Pictures Studio Lot

A sexual assault suspect who barricaded himself inside Hollywood’s Paramount Pictures Studios has been apprehended. The Los Angeles Police Department revealed on Twitter early this morning they were aiding the Fullerton Police Department in the capture. The FPD was attempting to contact the unnamed suspect in relation to the sexual assault investigation. They used non-lethal force before an officer-involved shooting broke out. At some point during that time, the suspect then broke away and barricaded himself inside a building on the studio lot. LAPD confirmed “the suspect was eventually taken into custody after police entered the building.” While no officers were hurt, the suspect was wounded and bleeding from injuries sustained during the shooting incident. He was hospitalized upon his arrest. Not much else is known at this time as the story is still developing.
