Tributes Memorializing Officer Hancher Seen Throughout Local Communities

Meanwhile, the surrounding community is expressing an outpouring of love for the late officer and his family. Digital billboards across the city have been changed in order to pay tribute and offer condolences to the fallen officer and his family. And don’t be confused if you begin seeing blue ribbons tied around trees all across town. The Hancher family has asked the local community to tie bows wherever you can. The local biking community is also looking to honor Hancher by hosting the “RIDE for Jacob” event. This Saturday at 4 p.m. bikers will gather at Captain Archie’s in North Myrtle Beach before riding around town, stopping at several key locations and even performing a drive-by at the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
