Suspect Apprehended by MBPD After Threatening Family Member with Weapon

One person is in custody following a disturbance at a residence in Myrtle Beach late last night. Officers responded to the scene in the 7600 block of Driftwood Drive where it was reported the suspect ran away after threatening a family member with a weapon. The MBPD set up a perimeter and utilized a K9 unit around the area. Just after 11 p.m. it was announced the suspect had been apprehended. The investigation remains ongoing.
