Fatal Shooting in Forestbrook

One person is dead after a shooting in the Forestbrook area of Myrtle Beach early this morning. MBPD were called to the scene at Bush Drive and Claypond Road. It’s reported along with the fatal shooting, a car was also found in a ditch along the side of the road. Residents have been asked to avoid the area. Authorities have warned some roadways may be temporarily blocked as the investigation continues.
