Sweet Grass Basket Weaving Class

Have you always admired beautiful Sweet Grass Baskets? Well, this is your chance to create one! You’ll need to register by February 11, 2011, if you’d like to try your hand at starting a basket. Teen and Adult crafters will benefit from interaction with Mt. Pleasant basket weaver, Ms. Vera Manigault. Ms. Manigault will demonstrate the techniques, share her knowledge of the history of the baskets, and aid the class in becoming basket makers. Class size is limited.
