One Person Injured After Car Submerges in Pond Near Socastee

One person was left injured after their car was submerged in a pond near Socastee last night.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the scene at the 8800 block of highway 814. When crews arrived, the person was already out of the vehicle they were transported to the hospital.  HCFR dive and marine rescue teams will be removing the car from the water.
