Boat from ‘Jaws’ Will Be Rebuilt to Study Shark Species

You’re gonna need a bigger boat for this story. The vessel that Brody, Hooper, and Quint took out on the ocean to hunt down the great white shark in “Jaws” is making a comeback! The ‘Orca’ is being rebuilt from scratch, under the supervision of the people who designed the original. It’ll be used for researching marine life and helping people better understand varieties of shark species around Martha’s Vineyard including great whites. The whole process is being filmed for a new documentary called “Return of the Orca”.
