Man Arrested For Aiming Gun at Father, Son Over Fireworks Dispute

Myrtle Beach Police have arrested the man accused of pointing a gun at a father and his 10-year-old son on the beach. Late Tuesday night police responded to a weapons violation call in the area of 72nd Avenue North. The victim claimed a man pointed a gun at him and his child during an argument over fireworks. The victim was reportedly shooting them off late at night which aggravated the suspect. A few hours later, police arrested Matthew Glass and charged him with two counts of first-degree assault and battery.
