World Health Organization Experts Contradict COVID-19 Information by CDC
New information in regards to the spread of COVID-19 has left many people extremely confused. Maria Van Kerkhove, the World Health Organization’s technical lead for coronavirus response, stated yesterday that new data may actually indicate it’s rare for an asymptomatic person to transmit the virus. She added their new information also suggests the virus mainly spreads through “droplets” as the result of coughing or sneezing. This comes in direct contradiction to everything the U.S. CDC has been saying for the last few months that led to the use of face masks being enforced in almost every public place. Kerkhove also went so far as to suggest if people who only showed symptoms were quarantined and if contact tracing methods were used for them as well, the spread of the virus could be significantly slowed. The findings have not been officially published. This all comes as global cases surpass 6.4 million with over 380,000 deaths.
