Horry County Kid Camps Canceled for Remainder of Summer Season

Horry County summer camps set to being today were canceled due to COVID-19. Horry County Parks and Recreation officials confirmed reports that some staff were exposed to an individual who has tested positive. In an official statement, they acknowledged and apologized for the short notice. Officials said they were only informed of the incident late Saturday and decided to cancel all camp programs for the remainder of the summer as a result. Anyone already registered will be contacted and issued a full refund.
