Suspect Drives Vehicle into Crowd of Seattle Protesters, Shoots One of Them
While the majority of protests across the country remained peaceful this weekend, there were still some violence that occurred. We would like to issue a warning for the footage we’re about to show. In Seattle, a 27-year-old male is reportedly in stable condition after being shot. The suspect, who has not been identified, reportedly plowed into a crowd full of protesters in their black car and hit a barricade. It’s believed the victim, who was a protester at the time, ran over to the driver’s side in attempt to slow the vehicle when he was shot. The driver then exited the vehicle, armed with a pistol, and sent other protesters running. The man was quickly apprehended and his gun recovered by police. It’s believed no one else was injured during the incident which was caught on camera. Just prior to, law enforcement were attempting to disperse the large crowds with blast balls and pepper spray after protesters threw bottles and rocks at them.
