Horry County Schools Continue Helping Students, Parents

We’ve got several pieces of good news for students in Horry County. First, Horry County schools will not allow any new assignments to be given out starting May 18th. This includes elementary, middle, and high schools and will be in effect until the end of the school year which is June 3rd. Secondly, it appears Horry County schools may be leaning towards in-person graduations. The class of 2020 will be allowed to return back to campus via drive-thru to pick up their graduation supplies beginning today. Furthermore, it appears district officials feel it’s important to get the kids back together one last time and are considering safe options that can include parents in order to make it happen for their graduation.
