“Operation Warp Speed” Hopes to Have COVID-19 Vaccine by November

Scientists working on “Operation Warp Speed” have identified 14 possible vaccines for COVID-19. The White House backed scientific task force was essentially given a blank check by President Trump to fast track a vaccine or cure in the most humane and safe way possible. The president has said he’s very confident results can be expected by the end of the year, a sentiment which is also somewhat backed by Dr. Anthony Fauci who said it’s possible a virus could arrive by early next year. The goal of the initiative is to make 100 million doses of a proven vaccine available to the public in November, 200 million by December, and 300 million by January. The scientists leading the operation are even looking into critical advertising strategies of the vaccine which could compel even the strongest anti-vaxxer advocates to get a vaccine.
