DHEC Reports New Coronavirus-Related Death Tolls for Carolinas

29 additional coronavirus-related deaths were added to the overall total in South Carolina. DHEC confirmed the new numbers after cross-analysis of numerous death certificates statewide and discovered almost two dozen unreported cases of the virus. This now brings the state’s death total to 232 people with almost 6,000 known cases. In North Carolina, they have over 10,100 cases and 381 known deaths.
