Dozens of Bodies Discovered In Trucks Outside Funeral Home

Dozens of bodies were discovered stored in trucks outside a Brooklyn funeral home. Law enforcement were initially alerted to the incident after reports came in concerning “dripping fluids” and a smell coming from trucks sitting outside the Andrew Cleckley Funeral Home. Upon arrival, they found at least four trucks containing upwards of 60 bodies, some laying on the floor. They also discovered at least one of the trucks was not refrigerated and instead had the bodies sitting on ice. It’s reported the funeral home became so overwhelmed they ran out of space to store the bodies which were awaiting cremation. The bodies were later transferred to a larger, properly refrigerated truck. The funeral home does not presently face any criminal charges, however they were cited for failing to control the odors. A source close to the matter said the funeral home was most likely trying to cope the best they could as New York city remains to be the epicenter of the pandemic with over 300,000 cases and nearly 24,000 deaths.
