Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Dillon County

One person is dead following a shooting in Dillon County. This is according to the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on Saturday night on Joann Branch Road. The identity of the victim has not been released but their death is presently being investigated as a homicide. Dillon County police have confirmed SLED is assisting with the case.
