Kayleigh McEnany Named Fourth White House Press Secretary

It was also announced yesterday that White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham has stepped down. Grisham leaves her position whiteout ever delivering a single press briefing. She was the third press secretary, preceding Sarah Sanders who took over after Sean Spicer resigned. Grisham will be moved back to her previous role as the First Lady’s Chief of Staff after the previous First Lady’s Chief of Staff resigned to spend time with her family. Grisham said, “I continue to be honored to serve both the president and first lady in the administration.” Kayleigh McEnany was effectively named as Grisham’s replacement and is now the fourth person to hold the title of White House Press Secretary for the Trump Administration. McEnany’s professional background includes working as the Trump reelection campaign’s spokeswoman and high-profile republican communicator.
