Two Arrested For Moving Beach Barricades
Two people were charged for moving barricades in order to go to the beach. 24-year-old Johnny Craven and 34-year-old Jonathan Oxendine were arrested near the 200 block of 16th Ave around 8:30 AM yesterday morning. Along with violating the governor’s orders to stay away from beaches, they were also cited for looting, breaking curfew, congregation, and failure to disperse. They were released on a bond of $153 and currently await trial. They committed a misdemeanor offense and face a minimum fine of $100 or a maximum of 30 days in jail.
