Coronavirus Guidelines Announced by President Trump

During a press conference on Monday, President Trump announced new guidelines designed to fight the spreading coronavirus outbreak. The White House, in a joint collaboration with the centers for disease control and prevention, laid out a list of recommendations. Among them are canceling all social gatherings with groups of ten or more. The President also urged Americans to avoid eating and congregating at bars and restaurants and to avoid all nonessential travel. The President said he is not currently considering the type of nationwide lockdown that have been enacted in some European countries. These guidelines come as 37-hundred confirmed cases have been reported. Including at least 71 fatalities across the nation. The House has also approved an economic aid bill to provide relief. The 110-page bill will provide free testing, extend unemployment insurance and ensure paid leave for some workers. The cost of the new package will be roughly 850 billion dollars.
