Eleven U.S. Soldiers Injured As a Result of Iran’s Attacks
It’s now being reported that eleven U.S. troops were in fact injured in the ballistic missile attacks by Iran last week. It was originally reported by the Pentagon and President Trump that there had been no casualties after Iran fired 16 missiles at two Iraqi bases housing U.S. solders. That no longer appears to be the case as almost a dozen people were injured. Thankfully, there were no deaths but out of the eleven injured, eight have been transported to a hospital in Germany for pre-cautionary follow up screenings. People are now left to wonder why we were initially told there had been no casualties, as the term includes deaths and injuries. Iran has come out with a statement saying the attacks were less about killing Americans and more about demonstrating their targeting accuracy.
