Protect Yourself, Your Family, Your Community in a disaster. Get trained…CERT Trained! Training Includes: Disaster Preparedness, Sky Warn Storm Spotter, Fire Safety, Medical Operations, Terrorism and Skills Testing. When: Tuesday, October 4 & Wednesday, October 5 Time: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (you must be able to attend both complete days/sessions) Where: Base Recreation Center, 800 Gabreski Lane, Myrtle Beach (on old Air Force Base) Cost: $10 – includes breakfast, lunch and snacks for both days. Space is very limited! All participants will receive CERT Certification and a comprehensive emergency kit including: Five compartment backpack with CERT print, 4 in 1 spark proof tool, 10″ adjustable wrench, two pairs of disposable medical gloves, one roll of 2″ x 60 yards duct tape, two dust masks, emergency blanket, 52 piece first aid kit, flashlight with batteries, hard hat with reflective CERT vinyl, one pair of leather work gloves, two light sticks, a multifuntion tool with belt holster, marking crayon, one pair of safety goggles, rain guage safety vest and whistle.
