Inmate Who Escaped is Back in Custody

The inmate who escaped from the Florence County Detention Center has been apprehended and put back into custody. 21-year-old Bryce Altman was named as the inmate who escaped. He was booked last week for multiple crimes including trespassing, violent burglary, and fraud. Altman was found and returned to custody mere hours after his escape thanks to the Department of Natural Resources, Highway Patrol, and the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
