Carjacking Spree Ends in One Dead
One person is dead and three are injured after a car jacking spree took place in Oregon late last night. The 20-year-old assailant started the spree at a Wells Fargo bank, where he stabbed two people. He then made his way to a gym next door where he stabbed one more person before stealing that person’s car and driving off. The assailant then drove to a suburb nearby where he stabbed a woman and then stole her car as well. After a police chase ensued, he eventually ditched the car and tried to run on foot. He was promptly captured and arrested. The woman who died was one of the bank customers, and those who survived sustained serious injuries. Beaverton Police Chief Ronda Groshong said, “this was a horrific crime, and our hearts go out to those victims and their families.”
