70-Year-Old Woman Assaulted and Robbed

Police are looking for two suspects who assaulted and robbed a 70-year-old woman in Lumberton. The robbery occurred yesterday afternoon in the victim’s own home. The robbers reportedly came up from behind her and forced her inside where they tied her up and demanded money. They ended up taking that and more, including firearms and jewelry from the residence. The woman was able to escape after the robbers left. The victim said the suspects were wearing all black, along with gloves and masks.
