Horry County Superintendent Addresses School Threats

Following the deadly school shooting in California, Horry County Schools’ Superintendent, Dr. Rick Maxey, addressed an increase of threats being made by students in a video released Friday.

In the video, Dr. Maxey and police talk about the severity of making threats and consequences that could follow. Every Horry County middle and high school principal is being required to show the video to their students. Dr. Maxey says, “threats will not be tolerated.”
