Lloyd, John David

John David Lloyd, age 67 of Sanford, NC died on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at his home. Mr. Lloyd was born in Lee County, NC to the late Phillip Folger Lloyd and Laura Eunice Lemons Lloyd. He graduated from Greenwood High School, was a Veteran of the US Air Force serving in Vietnam, was a member of the VFW, and retired from GKN. He is survived by his wife Brenda Pyrant Lloyd; two daughters, Angela Lloyd of Sanford, NC and Crystal L. Sweatt and husband Ronald of Sanford, NC; Four brothers; Larry P. Lloyd and wife Joyce of Sanford, Vernon G. Lloyd and wife Susan of Lexington, NC, Stephen (Oscar) Lloyd of Carthage, NC and Donald E. Lloyd and wife Debbie of Sanford, NC. Also survived by three grandchildren; Laura Brittany Smith, Tyler Eversole and Michelle Eversole. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Friday at Miller-Boles Funeral Home with burial at Center UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm at Miller-Boles Funeral Home.
