Varner, Mae

Mae E. Varner, age 84, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. Her husband, Howard, was by her side. She was born on February 28, 1927 in Bolivar , Pennsylvania to the late Adam A. Seaman and Lula Mae Seaman. Her brother, Joseph, predeceased her. She is survived by her husband of nearly 64 years, Howard D. Varner of Pinehurst, two sons, Allen E. Varner (Sheila) of Montgomery, Alabama, and Matthew W. Varner (Jane) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and four grandchildren, Tim, Chris, Ben and Abbey. Mrs. Varner was a former Registered Nurse, and a devoted and loving wife and mother. She will always be remembered by her beloved family. A private family memorial was held at Pinelawn Memorial at 3:00PM on July 3, 2011.
