Hicks, Daisy Marie

Daisy Marie Hicks, 75, of Florence, S.C., died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Honorage Nursing Center in Florence. She was born in Florence, S.C., the daughter of the late Aubrey Hyman and Sarah Poston Hyman. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Hicks (Debra) of Pamplico, S.C.; a daughter, Debbie Williams (Mark) of Florence, S.C.; a sister, Margaret Miller (Frank) of Niceville, Florida; five grandchildren, Brandon Freeman, Jamie Freeman (Gretta), Dodi Hicks, Eddie Hicks (Angie), Benji Hicks (Julie); four great-grandchildren, Lizzie Freeman, Warner Hicks, Jamie Hicks and Allie Hicks; a special friend, Ron Abbott. She is predeceased by her parents and one brother, Furman Hugh “Pee Joe” Hyman. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Cain Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery in Pamplico, S.C. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nursing staff at Honorage Nursing Center for the loving care they gave to their mother. Cain Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
