Martin, Carolyn

Carolyn Nance Martin, age 74, of Orrum, NC died on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on September 12, 1936 to the late Daniel and Luchie Williamson Nance. Mrs. Martin is survived by a son, R.D. Martin of Bladenboro, NC; three brothers, Jack Nance and Gary Nance of Chadbourn, NC and Sonny Nance of Lake Waccamaw, NC; three sisters, Virginia Ivey of Proctorville, NC, Ruby Rabon of Lumberton, NC and Sue Gore of Whiteville, NC; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. James Seamon officiating. Burial will be on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Evergreen, NC. Visitation will be on Thursday evening following the funeral service at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
