Willard Randolph McCutcheon, 88, a beloved father and the cherished husband of Pearl Risher McCutcheon, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday afternoon, April 26, 2011, at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. McCutcheon was born the son of Henry Harrison McCutcheon and Arcie O. Matthews McCutcheon on September 13, 1922, in Lake City, SC. He was a 1940 graduate of Kingstree High School; a 17 year employee in the maintenance department of Georgetown Steel Mill; and a Mason in the Harper‘s Masonic Lodge #225. As an avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time fishing, hunting, farming, and woodwork. He was a devoted man of prayer, faith, and study of God‘s Word; a member of the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church having served as a Deacon and was appointed as an Elder of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Earles Pentecostal Holiness in 2001. Randolph and Pearl were married July 14, 1942, and have celebrated 69 years together. From their blessed union was born four children, Barbara (Kenneth) M. Camlin, Willard Ralph McCutcheon, Frances (Don) M. Freeman, and Debbie (Johnny) M. Ellis; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a large extended family of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his son; three brothers, Archie McCutcheon, Leo McCutcheon, and Tommy McCutcheon; and one sister, Mellow Snow Dubose. A Home Going Celebration will be 2 PM Friday, April 29, 2011, at the Earles Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment in the church cemetery directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
