Ross, Doris Lee

Doris Lee Ross, age 67, of Lumberton, NC died on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Robeson County, NC on June 1, 1943 to Troy Lee and Clara Cox Lee. She was a seamstress. Mrs. Ross is survived by her husband, Carl Frank Ross of the home; a son, Keith Ross and wife Roxana of Lumberton, NC; one brother, George Howard Lee of Lumberton, NC; one sister, Virginia Lee Fisher and husband J.C. of Lumberton, NC; one brother-in-law, Eddie Ray Ross of Burgaw, NC; and one niece, Regina Valenta and her son Adam Fisher Valenta of Lumberton, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Clara Lee; one daughter, Carla Ross Parker; and two brothers, L.W. Lamb and William Horace Lee. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Dennis Harrell and Rev. Worth Gerald officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton. Visitation will be on Monday evening, April 25, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
