Dorothy Watson Rogers, age 76 of 144 W. Horne Road, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC. She is survived by her husband: James Duncan “Dunk” Rogers; one daughter: Janice “Jan” Shooter and her husband Ricky of Rowland, NC; two brothers: Hagood Watson of Dillon, SC and Hubert Watson of Dillon, SC; three sisters: Jane Collins of Mullins, SC Nan Carmichael of Latta, SC and Ann Byrd of Latta, SC. One grandson: Keith Shooter and his wife Victoria Riddle Shooter and one great-grandson: Wilton Keith Shooter. Visitation will be at 3:30 Pm in Boles Funeral Home Chapel, Rowland, NC. In lieu of flowers: memorials may be sent to Hospice of Scotland Count, PO Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353. Services are being handled by Boles Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Rowland, NC. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 4:00 PM in Boles Funeral Home Chapel, Rowland, NC. Rev. Michael Johnson, officiating. Burial will follow in Rowland Cemetery.
