Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 KJV Cora “Sis” Lee Harrison, the daughter of Elijah Harrison, Sr. and Sadie Mae Brunson Harrison was born on February 1, 1949 in Florence, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, Hartsville, South Carolina. “Sis”, as she was lovingly called, attended the public schools of Florence County and graduated from Wilson High School in the Class of 1968. She worked as a machine operator at ESAB for over 20 years. Cora was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are: one sister, Margaret Richardson of Florence, SC; one brother, Nat (Sallie) King of Florence, SC; three nephews, Timothy Brooks, Chris McCants, and Chauncey Gee; seven nieces, Sharon Shields, Gail Richardson, Rolanda Richardson, TaJuana (Chaun) Isaiah, Melanie (Tracy) Wilson, Ragin (Tremayne) Brown, and Brandi King; special friends, Jerry Mack and Lillie Mae Mack; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elijah “Sonny” Harrison, Jr.; and a sister, Jannie Mae Harrison. Service:
