Mabe, Joann Thompson

Pinebluff, NC- Joann Thompson Mabe, age 67, died Monday at her home. She worked many years with the telephone company in many capacities eventually retiring from Sprint. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elsie H. Thompson and Fleta Jenkins Thompson, 2 brothers, Roy Jenkins and Earl Thompson. She is survived by a son Tony R. Mabe and his fiancée Louisa Blake and a brother Reid Thompson all of Pinebluff. The family will receive friends at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines from 6-8 PM Thursday. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2011 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines. Burial will follow at Pinebluff Cemetery.
