Rogers, Timothy Cory

Timothy Cory Rogers, age 24, of Burgaw, formerly of Lumberton, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2011. He was born in Robeson County on September 24, 1986. He was employed by Progress Energy, The Sutton Steam Plant in Wilmington, NC. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Ivey Rogers of Lumberton; a half-brother, Craig Rogers of Lumberton; a half-sister, Tammy Rogers of Lumberton; his maternal grandfather, Winston Ivey and maternal grandmother, Laura Ivey, both of Lumberton; his paternal grandparents, KC and Dorothy Rogers of Supply; his aunts and uncles, Fay and Terry Rogers and Frances and David Cox, all of Lumberton; two special cousins, John and Jeremy Rogers, both of Lumberton; several other aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Gene Rogers. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton and other times at 72 Barnhill Road, Lumberton.
