Campbell, Donella Vann

Brenda Donella Vann Campbell, age 70, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in a local hospital. Born September 4, 1940 in Darlington County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Brodus Atkinson Vann. Donella will be remembered as a loving mother and devoted wife. She was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband, Jimmy Campbell of Florence, two sons: Tony (Dawn) Campbell, of Conway, Herbert L. (Emma) Campbell, Jr. of Florence; a daughter, Donna (Chris) Ivey of Darlington, six grandchildren: T.J. Campbell, Eric (Stephanie) Campbell, Stevan Campbell, Chris Ivey, Jimmy Ivey, Brenda Ivey; great grandchildren Kevin Campbell, Jacob Campbell, L. J. Murphy, three brothers: Robert Vann, Jr., Mickey (Shelly) Vann, Ronnie(Carolyn) Vann, all of Hartsville; two sisters : Barbara (Goodman) Timmons and Florence (Rev. Jennings) O‘Neal. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Vann. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Sunday, March 13 at Belk Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:30 A.M. Monday, March 14 at Southside Freewill Baptist Church with interment following in Florence National Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. directed by Belk Funeral Home.
